HT3 Outdoors announces a new professional redfish tour.

Ht3 outdoor’s president and ceo, Pat Malone, has announced that Ht3 outdoors will begin a new professional redfish tournament series in 2009.  Ht3 brings a promise of an angler and sponsor friendly series and a new and innovative format.

Ht3 is not completely new on the redfish scene. In December of 2007, Ht3 held a one man per boat -  3 fish limit - one day tournament in Lafitte, La. with good success. The energy, professionalism, and attitude that Pat brought to Louisiana with Ht3 left all who participated very impressed.

Now, beginning in March of 2009 Ht3 will launch a full tour. The tour will be a pro/am format - 2 day events - and promises to feature and promote the professional angler given every opportunity. This new tour with a pro/am format should lure the best redfish anglers across the gulf coast, and introduce the relitively young sport to many non-professional anglers.

Below is the mission staement taken from the Ht3 Outdoors website:  http://www.ht3outdoors.com/?page=home

Mission Statement   Welcome to HT3 Outdoors, HeadTurners3 is a family focused organization.  HT3 has become one of the premier innovators in competitive tournament fishing formats, procedures and customer service.  HT3 began life as a non-business entity, in the beginning, it was a discussion forum for high performance bass boat owners. This online forum was where enthusiast from all across the U.S. came to discuss performance bass boats and related topics.    From this was born the idea of tournaments and commercializing the web site to help ends meet. Some of the members felt that they were being commercialized along with the site, so it was decided to separate the forum and rename the high performance side of it. HeadTurners3 remained with the original principals and their site which became the first evolution of what we are today. High Performance Bass Fishing and Headturning tournament events.     Our goal was and is to provide our customers the ultimate bass and redfish tournament experience.  From formats to paybacks the anglers that choose to fish with us are the reason we are in business, we operate our tournaments, websites and forums to please our customers, not ourselves. As well, we strive to provide the best possible advertising outlet and tournament promotional experience for those that choose to advertise with us. Our basic philosophy is to payback as much of the angler’s entry fee money (in many cases 100%+) as we possibly can and use the advertising/sponsor money we generated to pay the bills of the company, upgrade the equipment and compensate the staff.   There are many concepts, philosophies, formats and procedures that differentiate ourselves from standard tournament trails, the vision, effort and execution to to provide a richer tournament experience for the angler and sponsors alike is the top priority of our company.  In 2005, HT3 introduced the one angler per boat format that caught on very quickly and was very popular with anglers around the state of Florida. In 2005, sponsors and advertisers were added that greatly improved the ability of the trail to provide state of the art touranments for it’s anglers and sponsors. 2006 showed continued growth with a format that was quickly catching on and eventually copied. The progressive thinking of HT3 Outdoors brought another innovation, the 3 fish limit on the bass side, where traditional 5 fish limits had been the norm. Eco friendly and more competitive events began paying off for the tour and it was evident HT3 invested the necessary time, energy and money to bring working and pro angles alike the type of tournaments they deserved.

With all the effort, philosophies and concepts put forth by HT3 Outdoors, it’s staff and volunteers there is still the chance that some angler may not have that Headturning experience we strive so hard to produce.  If that should happen to ever be the case we invite those anglers to email the principals of HT3 Outdoors directly at contact@ht3outdoors.com and we’ll will immediately strive to rectify any short coming of the ultimate goal of providing our customers, the anglers, with the most professional events produced anywhere in our region.
